Legal Ghostwriter
Location: Remote. Open to candidates based in the United States and Canada.
Reports To: COO
Compensation: $75,000 base salary, with meaningful upside through profit sharing. Based on performance and company profitability, total annual compensation may range from approximately $100,000 to $140,000.

We are CONTENDER, the premier LinkedIn ghostwriting agency for lawyers in the US and Canada.
We are a fully remote team leveraging our experience in the profession and our deep understanding of LinkedIn to make our clients magnetic on the platform. We help our clients share their stories, insights, and expertise in ways that attract attention, talent, business, and opportunities.
We are also, without exception, a group of people who wouldn’t have thought of LinkedIn ghostwriting as a way to make money prior to 2022.
Who are you?
- You are a lawyer with a creative, entrepreneurial and (possibly even) rebellious streak. We prefer lawyers but are open to other experience in the legal field.
- You have practiced law in the US or Canada long enough to know: 1) your way around a law firm, legal department, courtroom; and also 2) that you don’t really want to practice law anymore.
- You know how to write and enjoy doing it.
- You know how to treat clients with the level of care and attention expected of a lawyer.
- At some point in your career, you reached an inflection point where you’ve wondered whether our law degrees are as versatile as those people in law school career offices swore they were. You might have reached that point 10 years ago or 10 days ago. What we care about is that you’re a creative professional open to considering a serious zag from the traditional path.
What will you do?
According to Favikon, we represent 12 of the top 100 US lawyers on LinkedIn. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to help make that number go up.
You do that by:
- Developing and maintaining relationships with your clients;
- Drawing out clients’ stories and insights during monthly Content Calls; and
- Crafting those stories and insights into LinkedIn posts that resonate with people.
You’ll also help your clients by developing your skills as a member of our team. We continue to be the best in the world at what we do through consistent training on copywriting and LinkedIn best practices.
