About the Role: We are seeking a talented Technical Social Content Writer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging social media posts for Microsoft technical blogs. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding, familiarity with Microsoft products, and excellent social media skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage social media content for technical blogs via X, LinkedIn and (future) Bluesky
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure content aligns with company goals
- Assist with project management including calendar management, approvals, and reporting
- Assist with additional projects as needed including SharePoint management and SEO as needed
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience in social media content creation with high engagement from a technical audience
- Experience creating technical content for a social platform
- Strong technical understanding and familiarity with Microsoft products, particularly Security and Modern Work solutions
- Project management
- Excellent English communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines
- Organized and detail oriented
Nice-to-haves:
- Use of Sprinklr for social management
- Experience with SEO best practices and implementation
- Experience or willingness to learn SharePoint management for internal communication
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly rate or contract-to-hire arrangement (this will start as a part-time role)
