We are looking for a talented and insightful scriptwriter to craft engaging narratives that bring the art world to life. The ideal candidate should be able to research, write, and structure compelling scripts that captivate our audience while maintaining a balance between education and entertainment.
Ideal Candidate
- Strong experience in scriptwriting for YouTube, particularly in the arts, culture, or documentary space.
- Ability to research and synthesize complex art concepts into engaging, accessible scripts.
- Excellent storytelling skills, with an emphasis on pacing and audience retention.
- Experience writing in a conversational, engaging tone suited for YouTube content.
- Ability to collaborate with video editors and producers to align scripts with visuals.
- Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a scriptwriter for YouTube or similar digital platforms (portfolio required).
- Understanding of YouTube content structure, including hooks, retention strategies, and call-to-actions.
- Knowledge of the art world, art history, or contemporary exhibitions is highly desirable.
- Ability to tailor scripts for voiceovers and on-screen narration.
- Proficiency in script formatting and structure.
- Familiarity with tools like Google Docs, Notion, or Final Draft.
