SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER – GAMING – $45 – $51 an hour

We are looking for a dedicated Social Media Program Manager to serve as the primary voice for our gaming Marketplace. In this role, you will collaborate with the Social, Influencer, and Marketing departments to boost awareness and foster engagement for Marketplace content across our proprietary channels. You will be responsible for designing and executing social strategies, launching campaigns, and building relationships with players, brands, and creators across our digital platforms.
Reporting to the Organic Social Lead, you will oversee content calendars, handle scheduling, draft compelling copy, and manage publishing. Additionally, you will monitor channel health through analytics and reporting, with occasional light moderation duties.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Execution: Oversee the planning and implementation of social initiatives for the Marketplace, ensuring all output aligns with brand identity and core business goals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product and Integrated Marketing teams to translate business priorities and timelines into actionable social content plans.
- Creative Bridge: Act as the link between business targets and creative output by developing briefs that empower the Creative Team to produce high-impact, culturally relevant content.
- Trend Monitoring: Maintain a deep understanding of platform shifts and creator ecosystems to find authentic ways to link cultural trends to the Marketplace experience.
- Daily Operations: Manage the full social lifecycle-including calendar oversight, copywriting, community engagement, and publishing-to ensure a premium brand presence.
- Content Curation: Source and elevate Marketplace content, focusing on User-Generated Content (UGC) and creator highlights to drive ongoing discovery and player interest.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and interpret social metrics, contributing to performance dashboards and using data-driven insights to refine strategy and prove ROI.
Qualifications:
Top 3 Must-Have Hardskills
- Gaming Sector Experience: 5 years working at a major game publisher/in the the gaming sector managing high-volume social channels.
- Data & Analytics: 3-5 years experience utilizing [Sprinklr/Native Tools] to drive insight to action.
- Social Strategy: 3-5 years of experience with end-to-end social media strategy including planning, goal setting and implementation.
