Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media & Digital Marketing Assistant to join our marketing team. This role is essential in developing and executing innovative digital strategies to enhance brand visibility, engagement, and growth across various online platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of social media management, content creation, and digital marketing analytics, with a passion for storytelling and brand development. You’ll populate our social media channels with keyword-rich written content and streamlined, attractive video content. The goals? Capturing the attention of qualified customers, toward getting them to our products, and driving growth through data-driven strategies. This position requires someone with high energy, outstanding phone and email communications skills, integrity and drive for working from a remote home office, enthusiasm for collaborating within a team. Exceptional computer skills including CRM, MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), and Internet savvy are expected.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Create compelling content including graphics, videos, photography, and written posts that align with branding guidelines and marketing objectives.
- Manage social listening tools to monitor brand reputation, industry trends, and customer feedback for insights and opportunities.
- Conduct data mining and organize information into Excel spreadsheets.
- Support our marketing and sales teams in elevating lead generation and sales effectiveness.
- Track performance, report on key metrics, and refine tactics based on data.
- Plan and support campaigns for monthly photo/video submission contests.
- Utilize tools to schedule posts, analyze performance metrics, and optimize campaigns.
- Execute targeted Facebook Advertising campaigns to reach specific audiences effectively.
- Proofread all content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency before publication.
- Assist in e-commerce marketing efforts by integrating social media campaigns with online sales channels.
- Stay updated on the latest digital marketing trends and emerging social media platforms to keep strategies innovative.
- Engage in regular competitor research to uncover themes, trends, trending hashtags, and keyword saturation.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in social media management, digital marketing, or related roles.
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative ideas that resonate with target audiences. - Experience with Facebook Advertising and other paid social media campaigns.

- Ability to create engaging multimedia content including videos and photography; video editing skills are a plus.
- Familiarity with social media tools and analytics; experience with email platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact) is a plus.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Adobe Creative Cloud applications, and graphic design principles.
- Demonstrable ability to create basic visuals (e.g., in Canva, Photopea).
- Strong knowledge of social listening tools such as Hootsuite or Buffer.
- 2–5 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, and/or communications.
- Proven success managing social media assets for an organization or brand.
- Strong organizational skills and comfort working remotely on a small team.
- Autonomous yet comfortable and active with a co-dependent, seasoned team.
