Social Media Manager (Brand & Content Lead) – $25 – $45 an hour

This isn’t a role for someone who just “manages an account”—it’s for a Brand Architect who can turn our identity into a digital powerhouse. You will provide the high-level creative direction that drives our internal production engine, moving the needle on brand authority and revenue.

Why this role is different: As our Social Media Manager, you have an entire team of world-class editors at your disposal. Most SMMs are limited by what they can edit themselves; you are limited only by your imagination. You will direct the “Viral Vision” while our global team handles the heavy lifting, allowing you to focus on strategy, storytelling, and high-level growth.
Core Responsibilities
- Creative Direction & Briefing: Direct our internal global production hub by writing high-level technical briefs. You translate raw concepts into trend-setting, cinematic content.
- Full-Funnel Social Strategy: Develop and execute an aggressive multi-channel calendar (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, etc) designed to position Marketu as a B2B thought leader.
- Lead Attribution: Use our CRM to track engagement, shares, and DMs, analyzing exactly how our social presence converts into high-value lead opportunities.
- Aesthetic Gatekeeping: Maintain an elite visual standard. You are the final authority on our brand identity—if it isn’t “Marketu Quality,” it doesn’t go live.
- Community & Authority: Engage with industry leaders and our global audience to solidify our position at the cutting edge of digital trends.
Abilities & Credentials
- Strategic Experience: 3-5+ years in social media strategy, preferably within an agency or high-growth tech environment.
- Creative Literacy: A deep understanding of video storytelling, short-form algorithms, and visual psychology.
- Copywriting Mastery: The ability to write compelling, high-authority copy that resonates with C-suite executives and creative founders.
- Analytical Rigor: Experience using CRMs or advanced analytics to prove ROI and adjust strategy based on data, not just “vibes.”
- The “Killer” Portfolio: A body of work that proves you can stop the scroll and build a cohesive, premium brand aesthetic.
Commitment
- Type: Full-time / Remote (US-Based).
- Schedule: Must be fully aligned with Pacific Standard Time (PST) hours for real-time collaboration and team syncs.
