Copyeditor, The Choice
Our client, a medical association, is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented temporary employee to support the copyediting and updating of program materials. This is a 6 month temporary role, starting in early October through April 2026.
Main Responsibilities:
Work closely with other members of the Education team to:
- Understand build documentation and the Monday.com project board
- Locate and review Microsoft Word build documents
- Complete updates in the Learning Content Management System (LCMS)
- Review work closely and accurately
- Update the Monday.com project board accordingly
Assist with various tasks related to program questions in the Learning Management System (LMS), including:
- Pulling key point links from the LCMS to add to questions
- Adding processed images to questions
- Performing other tasks as required
Requirements:
- Experience copy editing complex scientific, medical, or otherwise technical content.
- Excellent Attention to Detail: Sharp eye for detail is essential to catch and correct even the smallest errors in content.
- Independent Work Ethic: Comfortable working heads-down and independently to complete tasks efficiently.
- Effective Communication: Strong communication skills to ask questions and provide updates as needed, ensuring clarity and alignment with team.
- Quick Learning Ability: Proven capability to quickly grasp new concepts and adapt to evolving guidelines.
- Technically Savvy: Proficient in using software tools including Box, SharePoint, Microsoft Word, and basic Microsoft Excel skills. Familiarity with Monday.com, Xyleme, or Oasis is a plus.
Assignment Duration: Early October 2025 – Late April 2026
Hours: Monday- Friday, 37.5-hour workweek (flexible start times between 8am – 9:30am)
Location: Remote (employee is welcome to work onsite if interested, but not required)
Equipment: laptop and two monitors will be provided
