Body Camera Story Writer | Catching Killers – $500-$500 Per Project
We’re hiring a high-level story writer for our police bodycam YouTube channel.
This role is storytelling + narration — not transcription.
You will NOT be expected to sift through hours of raw footage or “find the story” from scratch. The case timeline and key moments are already organized for you.
What You’ll Write
- Long-form scripts based on real police bodycam cases
- Stories told through multiple footage sources
- (bodycam, dashcam, CCTV, interviews, etc.)
- Narration that:
- builds tension + intrigue
- highlights contradictions
- calls out suspicious behavior
- progresses the story like an investigation unfolding

- Ability to build intrigue without speculation
- Comfortable writing serious real-world content
- Organized & passionate
If you’ve written for similar channels, please include:

Sample Requirement:
If selected for the next round, you will be asked to complete a brief writing sample. This is the easiest way for us to see who really understands what we’re looking for and is really interested in joining the team long term. Please only apply if you’re comfortable doing a short sample task.
