Your Role:
As our Content Writer & Social Media Creator, you’ll be responsible for creating and executing content that attracts, nurtures, and converts leads into customers for our flagship program, Dream Practice Academy, as well as our other offerings. This includes social media microcontent (Instagram, Facebook), email newsletters, blog posts, and YouTube long-form videos.
This part-time, remote role is perfect for a creative self-starter who understands digital marketing strategy and enjoys both the creative and analytical sides of content marketing.
We are a small company (only 5 people total), which is not for everyone and would match best with a candidate who prefers to operate in an environment where a high level of autonomy is provided and a high level of responsibility is expected. We are a 100% A player team and the ideal candidate would be excited by the prospect of learning a lot, working at a quick pace, and significantly contributing to company results.
Our company is growing rapidly and this role, while starting part time, has the potential to grow into a full time role with a greater level of responsibility over the marketing domain.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Develop, schedule and publish content across all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube), staying consistent with our brand voice/messaging
- Repurpose long-form content into microcontent for social media channels
- Assist with long-form video creation by creating scripts for CEO to record and doing rough-cut editing, coordinating with our outside editor for graphics
- Write SEO-optimized blog posts for our website
- Develop, write and schedule emails newsletters
- Assist with building funnels and funnel landing pages
- Track and report weekly on key metrics, including follower growth and new leads
- Support quarterly virtual live launch events
- Assist with larger marketing projects as needed
Qualifications:

- B.A. in marketing (or equivalent degree)
- Must be U.S.-based and located in North American time zone
- 2+ years of marketing and content creation experience, ideally with a small or online service based business (coaching/consulting)
- High level of experience with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube) and documented track record growing an audience
- Strong copywriting skills for social media, email marketing, and blogs
- Basic video editing skills (cutting clips, trimming footage, adding captions)
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools (Go High Level, Kit, Kajabi, Canva, etc.).
- Familiarity with SEO best practices
- Experience with building funnels (both copywriting for landing pages and using platforms like Kajabi for building the funnel)

Role Details:
- Hours: Part-time, ~20 hours/week expected to start
- Compensation: $25-$30/hour (based on experience). Willing to pay more for someone with the ability to contribute to marketing beyond just a content creation role
- Location: Remote, must be in a North American time zone
- Employment Type: 1099 independent contractor
