Technical Writer with Gaming Domain – Up to $23 an hour
This job is looking for a super-sharp editor for an AI system, with a special focus on mobile games.
Think of it like this: The AI is a writer, and you’re the editor and fact-checker. You’re not just correcting spelling; you’re making sure the AI’s “writing” (its data and judgments) is flawless and follows all the rules.
The hiring manager said they want a resume like a “content writer with a gaming background” because they’re looking for someone with two specific skills:
1. A deep understanding of mobile games. This is non-negotiable. You need to know how they make money (in-app purchases, ads), how players behave, and the ins and outs of the industry. This is a must-have, not a nice-to-have.
2. Excellent writing and analytical skills. This is where the “content writer” part comes in. The job is all about clarity. You’ll be defining rules, analyzing why the AI is wrong, and fixing problems with data. All of that requires someone who is meticulous, can explain complex ideas clearly, and knows how to make something easy to understand.
In short, they need someone who is part gaming industry expert and part quality control guru for AI data.
