Technical Writer, Apexon
We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to collaborate with cross-functional teams and translate complex technical and business information into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation. This role requires strong writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including:
- System and process documentation
- User guides, SOPs, and FAQs
- API documentation and technical specifications
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, data teams, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and validate content
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ensure documentation follows organizational standards, branding, and compliance guidelines
- Review, proofread, and edit content for clarity, accuracy, and consistency
- Maintain document version control and manage updates efficiently
- Support knowledge-base creation and content governance initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Computer Science, Engineering, English, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Writer in an enterprise or consulting environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Experience documenting software systems, data platforms, or enterprise applications
- Proficiency with documentation tools such as:
- MS Word, Confluence, SharePoint
- Markdown, Git (preferred)
- Diagramming tools (Visio, Lucidchart, Draw.io)
- Ability to manage multiple documentation efforts independently
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with large enterprise or global clients
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments
- Understanding of cloud platforms, data systems, or analytics tools
