Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Technical Writer. The Technical Writer will be responsible for creating and updating technical documentation, developing manuals, and ensuring clarity and accuracy in technical communication. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly content and maintaining consistency across all materials.
Responsibilities
- Develop, write, and edit clear and accurate legal-adjacent technical documentation, including guides, internal manuals, templates, FAQs, and client-facing materials.
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff to gather information and ensure accuracy of content.
- Translate complex legal or technical topics into easy-to-understand language for various audiences.
- Maintain and organize document repositories, ensuring materials remain current and consistent.
- Review existing documentation for clarity, completeness, and compliance with internal standards.
- Assist with process documentation and workflow optimization as needed.
- Ensure all content aligns with branding and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Technical Writing and Technical Communication
- Experience with creating and managing Technical Documentation and Manuals
- Strong ability to produce clear and concise written content
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and translate technical information for various audiences
- Proficiency with content creation tools or documentation software
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, English, or a related field is preferred
- Understanding of legal or law-related topics is a plus
