Technical Marketing Writer – $45-50/hr. W2

We are seeking a skilled technical marketing writer with strong security expertise to join the Security & AI team of one of our large Redmond-based tech clients.

In this role you will write a wide range of technical content that will go out to top customers that may include blog articles, one-pagers, and technical briefs. The general goal will be to show customers potential security challenges, and share solutions through best practices.

If you are the right fit, you are comfortable quickly digesting technical information and translating it into terms that less technical customer audiences will understand. Working closely with different subject matter experts and engineers, you will be able to identify key topics to deliver in an organized and concise fashion.

This is a full time, longer-term, remote contract engagement. We’ll only be able to respond to applicants who meet the basic qualifications for this role. Required:

• 4+ years of experience as a technical marketing writer in a fast paced, enterprise tech environment
• Proficiency in writing about current security and AI-centric topics for a customer audience
• Ability to pivot between long and short-form content and balance potentially concurrent writing projects
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to collaborate with SMEs and other key stakeholders
• Ability to match voice and tone to style guides to maintain messaging consistency across these factual security topics
