Sr. Content Writer, Slalom – $100,000-$130,00/year

Slalom’s Global Marketing team supports our internal teams and the Slalom brand, driving forward the marketing and branding efforts that reflect our unique company culture. We collaborate with marketing, creative, events, and content teams to elevate Slalom’s brand globally.
Slalom Consulting is seeking a Senior Content Writer to join our Global Marketing Team. This role will focus on creating compelling content across a variety of platforms, including digital (e.g., website, social), print, long-form articles, and short-form copy. The Senior Content Writer will be a key contributor to marketing initiatives that shape the Slalom brand, increase client engagement and drive business, ensuring consistency and impact in every piece of content.
What You’ll Do
- Drive the creation of compelling, customer-centric content and storytelling that showcases Slalom’s unique, human-centered approach and the impact we co-create with our clients. This includes developing detailed case studies and thought leadership that highlight client transformations and innovative solutions.
- Be a Swiss Army knife of content creators—equally skilled at crafting long-form articles, punchy social copy, campaign messaging, video scripts, event content, and more. You can flex across formats without losing clarity, consistency, or voice.
- Use AI-powered tools to accelerate content development, identify trends, scale ideas across formats, and personalize messaging for different audiences—without sacrificing quality or authenticity.
- Collaborate closely with subject matter experts, project leads, and client teams to gather insights and craft authentic narratives that resonate with both internal and external audiences.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business to align content with strategic priorities, navigate feedback with care, and drive consensus without compromising on clarity or voice.
- Support the development and execution of content strategies that elevate Slalom’s brand, ensuring content is aligned with business priorities, audience needs, and channel best practices.
- Contribute to the development of creative assets—such as video scripts, infographics, or AI-generated visual content—that complement written content and enhance the overall storytelling experience.
- Proofread, edit, and refine content to uphold high standards of quality, clarity, and brand consistency.
- Stay informed of industry trends, generative AI tools, and content best practices to continuously improve storytelling approaches and scale high-impact content with greater efficiency.
What You’ll Bring
- 5–10 years of experience in content writing, including writing for digital, social, and print platforms.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to tailor tone and style to different audiences.
- Demonstrated experience developing content strategies—from ideation through execution—that support business goals, enhance brand voice, and drive audience engagement.
- Experience using generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, Grammarly, Writer) to support content ideation, research, or production workflows.
- Versatility across formats—from executive-level thought leadership and SEO-driven articles to paid media copy, microsite content, and short-form video scripts.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to gather input, navigate feedback, and align content with cross-functional priorities.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and experience with website content management systems (CMS).
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver content that aligns with business goals.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with an ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- A passion for storytelling, innovation, and exploring how emerging tools—like AI—can amplify creativity and content performance.

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the targeted base salary pay range is $100,000-$130,00. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
