Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Specialist to join our team. Under the supervision of the Marketing Operations Manager, this role focuses on managing and growing our social media presence and developing content strategies aligned with company inbound marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate is a social media expert with experience in B2B marketing and managing budgets for all social media activities.
To be successful in the role, you’ll be expected to keep up with the rising legal trends, leverage platform analytics and tailor content strategies to the strengths of various social media platforms. Success in this role will be measured by growth in followers, engagement rates, social-driven web traffic and lead conversions. Our ideal candidate for this role is a strategic, innovative thinker with business experience in social media management. Understanding content marketing and social media trends is necessary.
Responsibilities:
Social Media Management
- Develop, implement and manage social media campaigns across all company platforms, such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.
- Maintain social media channels, including creating, scheduling and monitoring original written content tailored to each platform.
- Assist in promptly producing timely and on-brand responses to comments, messages and mentions.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of social media trends and incorporate them into the content strategy to maintain relevance and engagement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with the social accounts of legal associations and governing bodies and monitor the appropriate use of copyrighted and trademarked assets.
Paid Social Media Campaigns
- Plan, execute and optimize paid social media campaigns to drive brand awareness, website traffic and conversions.
- Monitor social media performance and campaign results using analytics to inform strategies and provide actionable recommendations.
- Utilize various analytics tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Audience Insights, HubSpot reporting, etc.) to track audience engagement, identify trends and monitor our social media growth rate.
- Stay up to date with platform-specific ad tools and best practices.
- Assist in the maintenance and application of the Best Lawyers publicizing guidelines
Content Creation & Collaboration
- Work with internal teams and external partners to develop content aligned with brand messaging and external coordination of Promotional Infographics.
- Activate social marketing campaigns to fulfill client orders and achieve optimal key performance metrics
- Strategize, write and manage social media content, including long-form content for LinkedIn, and collaborate with designers for visuals.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Experience working with and creating content for multiple social media channels, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and more
- Experience utilizing analytics tools and ad management (LinkedIn Ads Manager, Meta Ads Manager and Business Suite, Google Analytics, HubSpot)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills – strong spelling and grammar skills necessary
- AP style
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and collaborative mindset
- Analytical approach to work
- Ability to multitask efficiently with a commitment to meeting deadlines
- Some familiarity with the legal industry is preferred, but not required
- Experience with tools like Asana and HubSpot are a plus.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or a related field
- Minimum of four years of experience in social media management and content creation
