Social Media & SEO Coordinator – $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
We are seeking a creative, resourceful, and detail-oriented Marketing & SEO Specialist to support the growth of ContractQ — a startup CRM platform built for home improvement contractors. This role is ideal for a hands-on digital marketer who can manage social media, execute SEO strategies, and create compelling content that connects with our contractor audience. ContractQ is a fast-growing job management platform designed for contractors. We’re helping home improvement professionals streamline their business — from scheduling and estimates to invoicing and client communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Management: Plan, create, and schedule engaging content across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn to connect with our contractor audience and build brand visibility.
- SEO & Web Optimization: Research keywords, optimize landing pages, and make strategic updates to improve our site’s search rankings, visibility, and UX.
- Content Creation: Write blogs, newsletters, and email campaigns that speak in our brand voice and educate/convert our target market.
- Graphic Design: Use Canva or Adobe tools to create branded visuals for posts, emails, ads, and landing pages.
- Video Editing & Visual Content: Edit short videos or images to support social campaigns, testimonials, or product explainers.
- Marketing Strategy Support: Help craft and execute lightweight marketing campaigns aligned with product launches or outreach goals.
- Project Management: Stay organized and self-directed across multiple content deadlines, campaigns, and growth experiments.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in social media strategy and digital content creation
- Strong SEO knowledge and ability to optimize for Google Search and local results
- Familiarity with WordPress, Webflow, Canva, Adobe Suite, and email platforms like Brevo or Mailchimp
- Solid writing and editing skills for web, social, and email content
- A proactive, self-managed work style (this is a remote contract role)
- Excellent time management and attention to detail
- A portfolio or examples of past work (social posts, blog content, designs, etc.)
Nice to Have
- Experience marketing SaaS or B2B software
- Background working with contractor audiences (roofing, HVAC, plumbing, etc.)
- Knowledge of Google Ads, Facebook Ads, or Brevo automation flows
- Comfort using basic analytics (Google Analytics, Brevo reports, etc.)
