As a Social Media Manager, you will be at the forefront of our brand’s online presence, fostering community engagement and driving growth. Your passion for creating impactful content, engaging with our audience across social platforms, and developing strategic initiatives will help strengthen our brand’s connection with its most valuable audience. You’ll be responsible for managing social media channels, building relationships, and ensuring a strong, authentic brand presence.
What You’ll Do:
Content Strategy & Execution: Drive a structured, intentional, and strategic content plan that reinforces why Kaizen is the best healthy option available, with clear and consistent brand messaging.
Posting Cadence & Brand Visibility: Ensure Kaizen has a consistent, daily presence across platforms. Incorporate real social proof, testimonials, and personality-driven storytelling. IG Stories should complement feed content with strategic CTAs to boost engagement and awareness.
Content Planning & Scheduling: Content is planned and scheduled in advance. Weekly content reviews are held to ensure we are delivering our community with the most value.
Content Creation & Reporting: Develop high-quality, engaging content, including short-form videos, photography, and compelling written copy optimized for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and emerging channels. Track content performance and adjust strategies based on insights to maximize reach and engagement.
Social Engagement & Community Management: Community Engagement is our top priority. We strive to acknowledge every direct message and customer interaction warmly and promptly. We want to build relationships, foster loyalty, and amplify social proof with daily engagement.
Influencer Seeding & UGC: Execute and maintain a robust influencer seeding program that runs continuously. Track outreach, engagement, and content generation to ensure we maximize organic advocacy.
UGC Development & Management: Proactively source and encourage user generated content.
Brand Collaborations: Pursue high-value partnerships that provide our community with further value.
Community Feedback & Social Listening: Monitor customer sentiment, track trends in audience conversations, and use social listening tools to identify opportunities for engagement and brand improvement.
Industry Knowledge & Trends: Stay ahead of industry trends, audience preferences, platform updates, and the competitive landscape to ensure Kaizen remains at the forefront of social media innovation.
Who You Are:
- A social media expert with 2-4 years of experience in social media management within the food and beverage industry, preferably in the better-for-you CPG space.
- A content creator skilled in short-form video production, photography, and crafting engaging written content tailored for social platforms.
- A relationship builder who thrives in community engagement and knows that every DM, comment, and tag is an opportunity to better serve our community.
- Highly organized, with a strong ability to track and report on influencer outreach, content pipeline, engagement metrics, and performance data.
- Experienced in identifying and nurturing brand advocates, influencers, and ambassadors, integrating them into marketing initiatives.
- Agile and trend-savvy, able to riff on viral moments while keeping a structured content plan.
- Skilled in data analysis and reporting, tracking engagement, community sentiment, and key performance metrics to inform strategy.
- A team player with experience working cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer support teams to align efforts and drive improvements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite or similar design software to enhance content production.
- Background in paid social media strategy, understanding how to complement organic efforts with strategic paid campaigns.
- Experience launching or managing co-branded partnerships and community-driven initiatives.
- Passion for health, wellness, fitness, and food trends, with a natural ability to translate these into compelling brand storytelling.

Expected hours: 40 hours per week, with some flexibility for evenings and weekends as needed to support the business, as required.
