Social Media Assistant (Editorial and Content Communications Associate)
Project Overview:
We are a leading logistics and technology company seeking a skilled Social Media Assistant to support our fast-growing social media presence. This role will be integral to executing our content strategy and engaging with our community as we expand our brand’s reach and prepare for major product launches and marketing campaigns.
Overall Responsibilities:
The Social Media Assistant will be responsible for providing dedicated executional support to the social media team. This includes maintaining quality interactions, ensuring timely content posting, and proactively engaging with our audience across all channels.
Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
- Content Creation & Pipeline Management: Collaborate with designers and video editors to bring content ideas to life. This includes drafting video scripts and outlining concepts for infographics.
- Content Scheduling: Manage and publish content across our social channels using Sprinklr, ensuring all posts adhere to the content calendar and brand guidelines.
- Community Engagement & Monitoring: Actively monitor and participate in real-time social conversations. This involves responding to comments and inquiries, as well as proactively initiating conversations with new audiences. Use Brandwatch to monitor for relevant trends and brand mentions.
Top Skills:
- Proficiency with social media management platforms such as Sprinklr, Brandwatch, and Figma.
- Strong written communication and grammar skills for drafting and editing social copy.
- Experience with content calendars and asset management systems.
- Must actively engage and reply to comments on all social media platforms with speed and accuracy.
- Proven ability to proactively initiate conversations with new audiences to drive organic growth and community building.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Knowledge of social media analytics and reporting to inform content performance.
Minimum Qualifications (Education/Experience/Skills):
- BA/BS degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in social media management, coordination, or a similar role.
- Proficiency with social media management platforms such as Sprinklr, Brandwatch, and Figma.
- Strong written communication and grammar skills for drafting and editing social copy.
- Experience with content calendars and asset management systems.
Preferred/Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment within the tech or logistics industry.
- Knowledge of social media analytics and reporting.
