Samy US / Senior Copywriter Role
The Senior Copywriter will collaborate with the Associate Creative Director to assist the Head of Creative in completing creative and production projects by effectively managing available resources.
Responsibilities:
Write copy and develop concepts for projects and campaigns to meet approved strategic marketing objectives for Samy’s US market.
- Serve as a liaison between clients and the creative department, working closely with accounts and strategy teams to present the best marketing solutions.
- In partnership with the Associate Creative Director, lead the development of creative concepts and campaign narratives. Transform brand objectives and strategic insights into compelling and effective copy and ideas that drive various KPIs. Mentor junior team members and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with research and strategy teams to identify the best approach for campaigns and projects, including recognizing key cultural spaces (both online and offline) that enhance relevance.
- Present creative concepts internally or to major brand clients upon request from creative leads.
- Expertly craft and maintain a consistent brand voice across all social media touchpoints, adapting the tone for different audiences and campaign goals while remaining true to the brand’s core identity.
- Partner with the Associate Creative Director to lead creative efforts for new business pitches, including the development of the creative approach, execution ideas, and overall deck flow.
- Manage the creative and production needs for day-to-day outputs for assigned accounts.
- Make recommendations for creative positions and freelance services.
- Represent the agency at creative, professional, and civic functions.
- Support the development of case studies.
Requirements
Requirements and Experience:
- 6-8 years of experience in social media marketing.
- Proven ability to conceptualize and write engaging, platform-native ideas and copy for all major social channels (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms). This includes a deep understanding of platform nuances, character limits, and the unique voice and tone required for each.
- Experience working with beauty brands (preferred).
- Knowledge of key creative tools.
- Understanding and regular usage of AI tools in the creative process and execution.
