Scriptwriter | Alex Rechevskiy
We run a fast-growing YouTube channel dedicated to helping Product Managers land top tech roles and accelerate their careers. Our publishing cadence is ambitious — 1 long-form video daily plus consistent Shorts — and the script is the backbone of every piece of content.
As our Scriptwriter, you will:
- Write high-value, audience-focused scripts that deliver clarity, punch, and actionable insights.
- Develop both long-form outlines (10–20 min) and short-form looped scripts (20–59 sec) optimized for YouTube performance.
- Craft hooks, story arcs, and structured bullet-point roadmaps that keep PMs engaged and motivated to take action.
- Collaborate closely with the Founder and Creative Director to refine strategy, adapt messaging, and maximize results.
- Ensure every script starts with a clear subheading: who it’s for + what value it delivers.
- Help shape script strategy — not just execution — to maximize watch time, retention, and conversions.
Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for a scriptwriter who blends storytelling skill with growth strategy. The ideal candidate:
- Has proven experience writing YouTube scripts or similar digital content (educational, coaching, or business-focused).
- Understands YouTube viewer psychology — how to grab attention in the first 3 seconds and sustain it.
- Can switch between long-form educational outlines and punchy, loopable Shorts with ease.
- Brings a strategic lens to content, weaving in audience objections, career pitfalls, and unique insights.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, daily output workflow, balancing quality with speed.
- Excels at collaborating with leadership — directly with the Founder and Creative Director — to push scripts further and deliver measurable growth.
- A background in tech is a strong plus; a background in Product Management is a huge plus since it allows you to connect directly with our audience’s challenges.
Job Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- A portfolio of YouTube scripts, outlines, or educational content showing your ability to drive engagement.
- Strong command of hooks, pacing, and structured storytelling.
- Ability to write for a professional but approachable voice tailored to ambitious Product Managers.
- Familiarity with content funnels (TOF/MOF/BOF) and how script tone shifts with audience stage.
- Excellent collaboration skills to adapt feedback quickly and improve performance.
- Proven ability to hit daily deadlines without compromising on quality.
- (Bonus) Background in tech or direct experience in Product Management — highly valued.
