Part-Time SEO Copywriter

SEO Copywriter
We are seeking a part-time (20-30 hours/week) SEO Copywriter to support a high volume of website content updates and revisions. This role will focus on refreshing existing pages and creating new copy that is optimized for evolving search terms, ensuring alignment with brand voice. Much of the initial content will be AI-generated, with the copywriter refining drafts, training prompts, and ensuring quality and consistency. This is a fast-paced, high-volume project requiring availability during business hours and quick turnaround times.
Responsibilities
- Review, edit, and refine AI-generated website copy to ensure accuracy, brand voice, and SEO optimization.
- Refresh existing pages and create new content across blogs and local service pages, delivering 5–8 pages per week.
- Ensure proper keyword integration and optimization to address evolving SEO trends and search patterns.
- Provide feedback on AI-generated drafts and help improve AI prompts for more effective content.
- Collaborate with the web and design teams, occasionally inputting content directly into Figma.
- Meet fast turnaround times: typically 1 day for copy revisions before design handoff.
- Maintain consistency and quality across high-volume projects while managing multiple priorities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an SEO copywriter or content editor with strong knowledge of SEO principles and keyword integration.
- Ability to edit and refine AI-generated drafts, with a sharp eye for brand voice and tone.
- Exceptional editing speed and accuracy, capable of managing 5–8 pages per week on tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with AI writing tools and their patterns; experience training or improving AI prompts a plus.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams (web, design, marketing).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to deliver consistent quality in a high-volume workflow.
