We’re hiring a U.S.-based Marketing Writer. Must be experienced and efficient at writing high-quality, emotion-driven SEO-optimized copy for a wide range of industries, including products and services.
About the Marketing Writer Role at Get YOU Found Digital Marketing:
Your mission? Make our messaging strike an emotional chord. We want you to help make our copy connect on a human level and trigger emotions that drive people to the action of converting and reaching out.
We’re looking for a marketing writer who knows how to tap into emotion, bring clarity to messaging, and turn curiosity into clicks. You’ll take existing copy and give it heart by layering in storytelling, empathy, and persuasive techniques that inspire people to take the next step.
We are looking for a talented, articulate, and diligent writer who can efficiently produce high-quality SEO content, including landing pages and blog posts, as well as short, catchy content, including emails, call-to-action statements, pay-per-click (PPC) ad content, meta and title tags, headers, and more for our diverse client base, which includes law firms, insurance companies, holistic health professionals, industrial machinery companies, and others. We expect the remote marketing writer in this role to succinctly summarize ideas and content into short sentences and paragraphs that are both attention-grabbing and persuasive.
We expect that the person we hire for this remote writing role will initially be able to work between 10 – 15 hours a month.
The hiring process here at Get YOU Found Digital Marketing is multi-faceted. Those applicants who successfully make it past the first round of resume reviews, cover letters, and any skills assessment tests administered may be asked to take additional personality and/or skills tests, a sample writing assignment, and be asked to demonstrate their competency in carrying out tasks closely related to this role before being moved on to in-depth interviews with our hiring team. Since anyone we hire will have to demonstrate their skills to earn the position, only apply if you have at least three years of professional SEO writing and marketing experience.

Qualities and Experiences We Expect Our New SEO Content Specialist To Have:
- The ability to produce error-free content that employs proper syntax and use of grammar, and a positive tone
- Knowledge of the AP Style Manual and utilize those constructs when writing content
- A keen understanding of search intent and an ability to draft content that aligns with it
- An ability to identify the target audience for a piece and adjust the tone or word choice accordingly
- An understanding of the value of competitive analysis and how to incorporate insights gained into our clients’ content
- Expertise in on-page SEO optimization, such as how to craft highly effective site or social content that leads to conversions
- An understanding of the roles of title tags, meta descriptions, and headers, and best practices for optimizing them
- Expertise in keyword density and integration
- A command of best practices for local geo area optimization
In short, we’re looking for a seasoned professional writer who can quickly produce high-quality, original, informative, optimized, and emotional content.
