We are seeking a skilled Legal Brief Writer specializing in Wage and Hour employment law to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for drafting compelling legal briefs in class action cases, ensuring that our clients rights are effectively represented and defended in court. We are looking for 5 years of experience. This can be a fully remote role.
What You Will Be Doing
- Research and analyze wage and hour laws and relevant case law
- Draft persuasive legal briefs for class action lawsuits
- Collaborate with attorneys to understand case strategies and objectives
- Review and summarize depositions, discovery documents, and other relevant materials
- Ensure all briefs comply with court rules and procedures
- Attend case strategy meetings and provide input on legal arguments
What You Need for this Position
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- 3+ years’ brief writing experience
- Admission to any state bar is fine as long as you have existing class action wage and hour experience
- Strong research and writing skills with a focus on legal documentation
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
