Responsibilities
- Review and refine copy for grammar, punctuation, style, and consistency across web, social media, and print formats.
- Ensure adherence to brand voice and style guidelines in all content.
- Collaborate with writers, designers, and project managers to clarify messaging and resolve content issues.
- Fact‑check and verify accuracy of names, dates, statistics, and other factual information.
- Maintain version control and manage tracked changes in documents.
- Provide clear, constructive feedback to content creators.
- Uphold deadlines and manage multiple editing projects simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in copyediting, proofreading, or a related field.
- Exceptional command of English grammar, syntax, and AP/Chicago style conventions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across large volumes of content.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; familiarity with content management systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self‑motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a fully remote environment.
