Historical Researcher & Script Writer | Royalty Now Studios – $75-$200 Per Project
We are looking for a talented, detail-oriented researcher and script writer for our history YouTube channel. Currently our main channel is Royalty Now Studios, which focuses on specific biographies of historical figures and provides re-creations of their appearance.
We are currently creating a spinoff channel called Behind the Crown that is more topic-based and has a lighter tone.
Right now, we have a few scripts written that we need fact checked and edited a bit, so that will be the start of the job.
After, if we like the way you write, the role will involved 1-2 scripts researched and written per month. Topics will be provided by us but we are also open to new ideas. Some sample topics we have in the works are “Love Affairs that Changed History,” “Legitimacy Scandals that Changed History,” “Royal and Dynastic Curses,” “Most Insane Mass Hysteria Events in History”
Ideal Candidate
A skilled researcher and writer with a good sense of storytelling and how to keep a viewer/listener on the hook. We strive for historical accuracy, so attention to detail and sources are a must. Should also be someone who can balance academic research with a fun narrative tone.
Job Requirements
- Ability to research using primary and secondary sources for historical accuracy
- Ability to turn those facts into an interesting narrative that keeps a viewer hooked!
- Looking for scripts that run about 15 minutes in length
- As a bonus, someone with a passion for history who will enjoy the job 🙂
