Freelance Copywriter – $75/hr – $100/hr

We are seeking a freelance Copywriter to support the Copy Director and broader creative teams in telling the Timeline story and developing highly engaging campaign copy across a variety of channels. This role will suit a creative and innovative thinker—someone organized, detail- and solution-oriented. A proactive communicator who is comfortable presenting their point of view, and who can take feedback and edit their own work quickly and to a high standard, is essential.
Ideally, you’ll be a mid-level freelance copywriter with 5+ years of experience and a proven track record writing for direct-to-consumer brands across health, wellness, and/or nutrition; bonus for experience in beauty/skincare.

This fully remote, contract role is ideal for a digitally native, sharp, strategic writer who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment and knows how to craft copy that is accurate, powerful, and on-brand. Significant experience crafting organic social copy is a must.

What you’ll write (not necessarily exhaustive):
- Organic Social copy across all platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Meta, et. al.)
- Paid/programmatic media campaigns (Meta, Google Search, Performance Max, LiveIntent, etc.)
- Direct response emails
- Amazon upkeep
- Landing pages and web content
- Scripts, assets and talking points for partnerships, BD initiatives, newsletters, podcasts and influencer activations
What you can expect
Around 30 hours of work per week and this role must be based in the U.S., with a preference for candidates in the PST time zone.
