Event Content Writer (Event Content Lead) – $50,000 – $65,000/year
As the Event Content Lead, you’ll manage content creation and delivery for 30+ annual events, including in-person retreats, virtual certifications, and 1-day immersions. You’ll collaborate with faculty, project managers, and event teams to ensure smooth planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities
Content Development & Coordination
- Co-develop and manage event content with Faculty
- Oversee creation and final proofing of deliverables: PowerPoints, Tick Tocks (run of show), eMaps (agendas), speaker notes, timers, hold slides, and training materials
- Assign and manage Asana tasks for content assets
- Collaborate with Offer Strategist on offer-related content and testimonials
- Ensure up-to-date Faculty bios and RSVP forms
- Lead agenda creation and facilitate cross-functional communication
Printed Materials
- Manage development, approval, and delivery of all printed event materials
- Maintain printed materials tracker and coordinate with Graphic Artist via Asana
- Ensure timely edits and version finalization
eMap & Tick Tock Management
- Create and lead planning for eMaps and Tick Tocks
- Ensure detailed and accurate documentation for internal use and site updates
- Own final proofing for all Tick Tocks
Event Execution
- Provide on-site support for select in-person events (travel required)
- Support tech checks, rehearsals, and live events in collaboration with Production
- Deliver real-time speaker notes and content updates as needed
File & Asset Management
- Organize and distribute content via Dropbox
- Archive final event assets post-event
Post-Event & Budget Support
- Review Event Debriefs and assist PM with task creation and stakeholder review
- Share recommendations with PM for future improvements
Requirements
Education / Experience
- 2+ years of project management experience, ideally within event production, content development, or education
- Strong background working with content creators, faculty, or speakers
- Experience managing virtual and in-person events (hybrid is a bonus)
Skills / Functional Competencies
- Expert level dexterity with PowerPoint
- Detail-obsessed, especially with spelling, grammar, and formatting
- Resourceful, tech-savvy, and quick to learn new platforms
- Comfortable with tools like Zoom, Asana, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and CRM systems
- Familiarity with AGILE workflows (sprint planning, iteration cycles, stand-ups, etc.)
- Excels in managing complex and fast-moving priorities
- Exceptionally organized, with a love for checklists and deadlines
- Experience with generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Jasper) to support content creation or refinement
- A clear and confident communicator who can interface with faculty and creatives
- Passionate about personal growth and making a meaningful difference in the world
- Reliable, distraction-free home office and strong internet required
Work Requirements
- Home office (tele-commute)
- Live in NV, OR, AZ, UT, ID, NM, MT, WY
- 40+ hours/week, primarily 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (with flexibility during event periods)
- Nights & Weekends as needed for events
- Normal physical activity (movement/hearing/seeing/communication)
