The International Mission Board, a nonprofit religious organization in Richmond, VA, is hiring for a Part-time Email Marketing Assistant for a temporary assignment to start immediately!!
Location: REMOTE
Schedule: 25 hours per week
The Email Marketing Assistant will be responsible for monitoring our various marketing mailboxes used for mass email distribution and responding to emails in a timely and appropriate manner. This role will work closely with the Email Marketing Manager to support department goals for customer engagement and conversion.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor mailboxes and respond to emails received in a timely and professional manner
- Provide social media support by writing social media posts as well as sourcing appropriate images and videos for posting.
- Escalate issues to the appropriate parties as needed.
- Review & edit copy for email campaigns prior to editorial submission.
- Collaborate with the Email Marketing Manager to convert leads to customers and customers to advocates
- Support department goals for customer engagement and nourishing
Requirements:
- Associate degree, preferred
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Detailed-oriented and strong organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize duties
