About the Role
We’re seeking a talented Senior Copywriter Contractor to join our dynamic team. This cross-functional role is responsible for driving content strategy and execution across full website redesigns, landing pages, custom features, A/B testing copy, email campaigns, paid media ads, and editorial content.
In addition to managing a queue of general client requests, you’ll serve as a dedicated copywriter for specific accounts, owning brand voice, ensuring clarity and accessibility, and crafting compelling copy that resonates with audiences while supporting business objectives. This role bridges creativity, strategy, and execution, delivering innovative, user-centered copy across digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Strategy & Execution: Write and edit copy from concept to final delivery across digital and print channels. Develop content that balances user needs with business objectives and aligns with client goals.
- Client-Focused Writing: Own and execute copy for designated client accounts, ensuring brand voice consistency and developing messaging that engages and converts.
- Conversion Optimization (CRO): Create and test A/B variations of copy to enhance engagement and improve conversion rates.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with designers, strategists, and developers to align messaging with design and KPIs while maintaining tone and consistency.
- Research & Insights: Use user personas, customer journeys, SEO best practices, and analytics to inform content decisions and optimize performance.
- Brand Alignment: Translate brand standards into engaging, consistent messaging across all touchpoints, pushing creative boundaries while maintaining integrity.
- Accessibility in Language: Ensure all content is clear, inclusive, and easy to understand.
- Presentation & Communication: Present copy concepts confidently to stakeholders, articulating the rationale behind creative and strategic choices.
What You’ll Need
- Proven ability to create copy that drives measurable engagement and conversions.
- Strong background in brand voice development, content strategy, and storytelling.
- Experience crafting high-performing copy for websites, campaigns, emails, and ads.
- Working knowledge of SEO and CRO principles.
- Excellent editing, proofreading, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong collaboration and client communication skills.
- Experience with tools like Google Docs, Google Slides, and project management platforms.
