Overview
This Content Author role will be responsible for help center content, including drafting new support content based on input from subject matter experts and stakeholders, collaborating with the writing team to edit and maintain consistency across documentation, manage stakeholder review and approval process for new and updated content and author content in KMS Lighthouse, including creating new articles and updating existing ones
This role will be responsible for creating, managing, and structuring content, utilizing the KMS Lighthouse platform. This is a 9-12 month consulting engagement and can be remote. Qualified candidates must live in the United States. This role doesn’t support visa sponsorship or office locations outside the continental US.
Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing effective content models within KMS Lighthouse for the help center function and support
- Authoring, editing, and manage high-quality, accurate content.
- Collaborating closely with other teams to ensure content meets design specifications, technical requirements, and overall strategic objectives.
- Ensuring content consistency and adherence to our brand guidelines.
- Draft new support content and manage stakeholder review and approval.
- Create new articles for help center and update existing articles as needed.

- Proven, hands-on experience authoring and managing content directly within the help desk content area
- Must have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in content authoring, management and/or content writing
- Bachelors degree in English, Communications or similar degree
- Strong practical experience with help center content modeling
- Experience with KMS Lighthouse platform is required
- Exceptional English writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, particularly regarding content quality, structural integrity, and accuracy.
- Ability to work within Client facing environment, providing exceptional content delivery solutions and the ability to make recommendations as needed requiring a solutions-oriented mindset
- Ability to work with many different cross functional teams and departments
- Must be able to deliver immediate content focused solutions and operations requiring little ramp up time
- Adaptability, flexibility and strong sense of professionalism in the workplace
Compensation
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado, Sand Cherry Associates is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. This is a consulting engagement, with an hourly range of $70-85/hr. Years of experience, level of education, geographic location, unique skills/qualifications for the specific role and potential certifications can be key factors in the final compensation for this role.
