Brand AI Copy Editor – From $55 an hour
We are seeking a skilled Brand AI Copy Editor who can blend traditional copywriting excellence with modern AI tools to maintain our brand voice while scaling content production efficiently. The ideal candidate balances technical precision with creative sensibility, acting as both a guardian of brand standards and a champion of engaging, impactful communication.
About the Team
You will join our Corporate Marketing team, playing an important role in sharing our brand story with customers, followers, and the broader data and AI community. This role offers the chance to work on a dynamic, high-growth marketing team alongside passionate professionals dedicated to empowering every organization to be successful with data and AI.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enforce brand style, tone, and voice across content and enterprise tools (Grammarly, Perplexity, Glean, etc.).
- Review and refine AI-generated content for brand alignment, clarity, and quality.
- Train team members on effective AI tool usage while preserving brand integrity.
- Oversee AI-powered content generation workflows and guide prompting strategies.
- Provide constructive feedback to AI tools, writers, and engineers to improve content quality.
- Manage approval processes for AI-generated content publication.
- Ensure factual accuracy, grammar, spelling, and style consistency in all content.
- Craft original copy to fill content gaps (e.g., subheadings, metadata, CTAs).
- Develop and maintain brand style guides and editorial standards.
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to align messaging across channels.
- Stay current on industry trends, evolving language standards, and AI innovations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in copywriting and/or copy editing (enterprise brand or agency preferred).
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail.
- Familiarity with copy editing tools (Grammarly, etc.) and AI content generation tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.).
- Experience developing and maintaining style guides and editorial guidelines.
- Strong understanding of metadata, SEO best practices, and content optimization.
- Project management experience in fast-paced creative environments.
- Experience with content management systems and workflow tools (Asana, Jira, Drupal, Figma, etc.).
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Familiarity with design software and basic visual content creation.
