Bilingual Copywriter – Transcreation
We are seeking a Bilingual Copywriter with expertise in Transcreation to support advertising and marketing initiatives aimed at the U.S. Hispanic market. This role goes beyond direct translation, requiring a nuanced understanding of cultural context, sentiment, and tone to ensure English copy is effectively adapted into Spanish while preserving the brand’s voice and intent. The ideal candidate is a native-level Spanish writer with a proven track record in localization, transcreation, and culturally relevant storytelling. This is a remote, project-based opportunity with ongoing work expected.
Responsibilities:
- Transcreate English marketing copy into Spanish while maintaining tone, sentiment, and cultural resonance.
- Ensure messaging aligns with brand voice and resonates authentically with the U.S. Hispanic audience.
- Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to adapt content for multi-channel campaigns.
- Provide insight into cultural nuances that impact language, phrasing, and audience perception.
- Deliver polished copy on deadline for a variety of formats including digital, social, email, and print.
Required Qualifications:
- Native or near-native fluency in Spanish and English, with proven experience writing for U.S. Hispanic audiences.
- Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in transcreation, localization, and bilingual copywriting.
- Strong portfolio showcasing transcreated work across marketing and advertising channels.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to cultural nuance.
- Ability to work independently, manage shifting project timelines, and deliver high-quality work on demand.
- Experience collaborating with creative and marketing teams in deadline-driven environments.
