What You’ll Do:
The AI Technical Writer will collaborate with subject matter experts to understand responsible AI technologies and methods and distill critical information into clear and accessible documentation.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Create and maintain a range of technical documents including user guides, API documentation, release notes, and knowledge base articles.
- Develop tutorials, whitepapers, and case studies to educate users on best practices for implementing responsible AI solutions.
- Review technical documentation produced by contracted vendors for consistency, accuracy, and harmony with corpus of CDAO RAI products.
- Gather feedback from users and internal stakeholders to continuously improve documentation quality and usability.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in technical writing and AI technology, as well as DoD, U.S. Government, and international policies as necessary.
- Scrupulously follows security, classification, and public release policies and procedures to ensure documents are properly marked and handled.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Communication, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in the AI, machine learning, or software development domain.
- Proficiency in documenting complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to translate technical jargon into clear and concise documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Secret clearance is required.
