Responsibilities and Skills Required:
- Write clean and vibrant SEO-optimized copy that is fun and entertaining
- Ability to brainstorm, generate ideas and thoroughly report them out
- Ability to spot viral stories or a compelling angle not covered by other publications and the ability to re-work a local story with a national angle
- Manage production and publishing of digital content, packaging each story with headlines and visuals (photos and multi-media) that are unique to our brand
- Strong news gathering skills and able to work in a digital-first environment
- Use analytics-driven decision making in selecting content
- Collaborate with reporters and editors across internal editorial departments and brands
