A creative and versatile writer is needed to develop compelling narratives and scripts specializing in women-loving-women (WLW) fiction and erotica. The role involves crafting stories that prioritize emotional chemistry, authentic character development, and diverse representation. The work involves writing for various formats, including digital prose, audio scripts, or video treatments, ensuring a focus on storytelling quality and genre-specific pacing.
Core Responsibilities
- Narrative Development: Create engaging scripts and stories from initial concept to finished draft, focusing on the nuances of the WLW genre.
- Character Crafting: Develop authentic characters with distinct voices, motivations, and emotional depth.
- Structural Pacing: Focus on the build-up of tension and psychological engagement through dialogue and descriptive storytelling.
- Production Formatting: Organize scripts with clear directions for performers or directors, including tone, setting, and pacing notes.
- Genre Adaptation: Write across various sub-genres (such as contemporary romance, fantasy, or historical fiction) based on platform trends and project requirements.
- Collaboration: Revise and edit content based on editorial feedback, production needs, and safety or legal guidelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong Writing Mechanics: Exceptional mastery of grammar, syntax, and descriptive vocabulary to create immersive narratives.
