Bilingual Spanish Editor
We are seeking a detail-oriented and bilingual Spanish Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing, editing, and refining a variety of content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to style guidelines. This role requires strong language skills in both Spanish and English, as well as a keen eye for detail and excellent communication abilities. The Bilingual Spanish Editor will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and consistency of our published materials across multiple platforms.
Duties
- Proofread and copy edit written content in both Spanish and English
- Ensure all content complies with relevant style guides provided
- Conduct fact-checking and research to verify information accuracy
- Edit for clarity, tone, grammar, punctuation, and overall readability
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Attend editorial meetings and trainings as per schedule
Requirements
- Proven experience in editing, proofreading with a strong portfolio of work in both educational material
- Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and writers
- Proficiency in word processing software and editing tools
- Ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences and purposes
- Experience with copywriting, creative writing, or proposal writing is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Languages, or related field considered
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is required; proficiency in both written and spoken forms
