Social Media Coordinator
Household CEO exists to help people lead their lives with intention. We work in the personal development, success, and leadership space, supporting individuals and families to strengthen self-leadership, clarity, and capability in everyday life. Our programs are delivered through a globally recognised learning platform, live and destination events, and a values-led community that spans more than 100 countries.
Culture matters here. We value personal responsibility, consistency over intensity, respectful communication, and growth that is sustainable — personally and professionally. We do meaningful work, and we take how we work together seriously.
The Role: Social Media Manager
We are seeking a Social Media Manager who understands that social media is not just about visibility, but about stewardship of a brand, a message, and a community.
This individual is responsible for planning, creating, publishing, and managing content across social platforms, ensuring that everything we share reflects the values of: clarity, credibility, warmth, and integrity.
You will work closely with leadership and marketing to translate long-form thinking, lived experience, and educational content into clear, engaging social media communications that feel human — not hype-driven.
This is a contract-based role, suitable for someone who works well independently, manages their time with maturity, and takes pride in delivering thoughtful, high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a consistent social media content strategy
- Create written and visual content for platforms such as LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, X, and Facebook
- Schedule and publish content using social media management tools
- Monitor engagement, respond professionally to comments and messages, and nurture community interaction
- Track performance metrics and provide insights to support ongoing improvement
- Maintain brand consistency across all social touchpoints
What we’re looking for
Capability matters — but character matters more.
We’re looking for someone who demonstrates:
- Strong written communication skills, with an ability to capture tone, nuance, and intent
- Proven experience managing social media accounts for a brand or business
- A solid understanding of social media analytics and performance tracking
- High personal accountability and follow-through
- Comfort working remotely, managing deadlines, and prioritising work independently
- Respect for boundaries, confidentiality, and professional standards
- An interest in personal development, leadership, or education-based brands
Experience with social media management tools and digital marketing is expected. Formal qualifications are welcome but not essential.
Why you’ll thrive here
You’ll thrive here if you’re motivated by ownership, outcomes, and building something of substance — rather than clocking hours for a fixed salary.
This role is well-suited to a Social Media Manager who thinks commercially and understands brand growth as a long-term asset. You enjoy taking responsibility for results, optimising performance, and contributing to a business where your work directly influences visibility, credibility, and reach.
Household CEO attracts people with an ownership mindset: self-directed professionals who manage their time well, think strategically, and take pride in follow-through. You will be operating with autonomy, aligning your work to business objectives, and growing alongside a values-led personal development and leadership brand.
If you are looking to apply your social media expertise in a way that supports sustainable business growth — within a remote, contract-based, performance-conscious environment — this role is designed for you.
Why this role works
This role suits someone who values depth over noise, relationships over reach, and long-term brand trust over short-term trends.
You’ll be working with a business that is values-driven, human-centred, and intentional about growth — internally and externally. If you are looking to apply your social media expertise in a way that feels aligned, grounded, and purposeful, this role will resonate.
