Technical Writer / Digital Content Publishing Specialist – $25/hr – $28/hr
About the Role:
- Client is seeking a Technical Writer / Digital Content Publishing Specialist to provide business continuity support for digital content publishing during an extended leave coverage period.
- This role focuses on uploading, managing, and validating marketing and technical content across digital platforms to ensure timely and compliant publication for global sales and product teams.
- You’ll work closely with marketing, compliance, and content owners to maintain publishing accuracy, metadata quality, and regulatory alignment across platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Oracle, and SharePoint.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage uploading, metadata creation, and lifecycle management of marketing and product content on digital platforms.
- Publish and maintain content in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Oracle-based systems to support sales and product functions.
- Conduct quality assurance (QA) reviews on submitted content to ensure it meets publishing standards (correct publication number, regulatory labeling, date accuracy, and password-protection settings).
- Communicate effectively with content owners and submitters to resolve QA issues and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Generate daily and periodic content upload and publishing reports, including tracking English and translated materials.
- Support acquisition rebranding and regulatory compliance initiatives as assigned.
- Maintain and update internal SharePoint sites for document management and cross-team collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (Communications, Technical Writing, Marketing, or related field preferred).
- 1–2+ years of experience in digital content publishing, web content management, or technical writing.
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or other CMS platforms (e.g., Oracle, Sitecore, WordPress).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in verifying metadata, publication numbers, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and content owners.
- Familiarity with SharePoint and basic regulatory or controlled document workflows is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple publishing tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
