Freelance Social Media Copywriters
We are looking for experienced freelance social media copywriters to support our growing team with high-quality social content ideation, planning, and creation for our B2B and B2C healthcare clients.
The ideal candidate is a full-time freelancer with exceptional writing skills and a strategic mindset. They have proven experience writing thought leadership for individuals and brands, as well as crafting engaging, audience-centric social content for a variety of healthcare audiences, including patients, providers, industry executives and decision-makers, and payers.
What you’ll do
Assigned projects may include social content planning and ideation, advising on creative assets and posting schedules, using client-supplied analytics to guide content decision-making, and writing platform-optimized posts that align with client channel strategies.
Candidates should be able to:
- Execute on channel strategies tailored to client goals and audiences
- Create engaging content for a wide range of platforms, including: LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and X/Twitter
- Write and adapt copy in distinct brand voices for all stages of the funnel
- Maintain content calendars that map planned posts to priority topics/themes, creative asset needs, post format, calls to action, post goals, and target audience
- Recommend what to publish and when based on data, best practices, and client objectives
- Turn long-form, sometimes complex editorial content into optimized, on-brand social posts and series
- Collaborate with account executives, content strategists, writers, editors, designers, and project coordinators to ensure consistency and strategic alignment across assets
- Stay up to date on social media trends and platform algorithm changes; test, learn, and iterate based on client-supplied performance data
- Meet deadlines and respond to feedback in a timely, professional manner
