About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive, creative, and highly organized Digital Marketing & Social Media Manager who loves dogs and thrives in a startup environment. This role combines hands-on content creation (filming, editing, posting, appearing on camera) with full-funnel digital marketing management—from email campaigns and influencer partnerships to paid ads, analytics, and competitor research.

Key Responsibilities
Content & Social Media
- Plan, create, and schedule engaging content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and emerging platforms
- Film and edit high-quality short-form videos for product education, lifestyle, and behind-the-scenes content
- Be comfortable appearing on camera to create relatable, authentic content
- (Bonus) Feature your own dog in videos to bring fun and relatability to the brand
- Research trends, hashtags, and viral opportunities to maximize reach
- Maintain a 4+ week content calendar
Influencer & Community Partnerships
- Identify, pitch, and manage influencer collaborations
- Build authentic relationships with veterinarians, shelters, and rescue groups
- Negotiate partnerships ethically and track ROI
- Curate and repurpose influencer and UGC content across channels
Email Marketing & CRM
- Create, manage, and optimize email and SMS campaigns (flows, segmentation, automation, and newsletters)
- Track KPIs such as open rate, CTR, and conversions
- Continuously improve campaigns with testing and performance insights
Paid Media & Advertising
- Set up and manage Facebook, Instagram, and Google Ads campaigns
- Test, optimize, and track creatives and targeting for maximum ROI
- Collaborate on ad visuals and copy to ensure consistency with brand voice
Analysis & Strategy
- Track KPIs across all digital channels and report weekly/monthly insights
- Conduct competitor research to identify gaps and opportunities
- Use analytics to drive strategic recommendations and content optimization
- Help shape brand strategy and marketing priorities with leadership
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of digital marketing/social media experience (DTC, CPG, or pet brands preferred)
- Strong content creation skills: filming, editing, storytelling, and appearing on camera with confidence
- Proven experience running email campaigns, influencer management, and paid ads
- Strong analytical mindset; comfortable tracking KPIs and optimizing for ROI
- Startup mindset: proactive, adaptable, comfortable wearing multiple hats
- Passion for dogs and pet wellness (having your own pup to feature is a plus!)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-driven
- Committed to ethical, faith-driven marketing
