Copywriter, Project Worldwide
We are seeking a trend-obsessed copywriterwith 2-5 years of experience to join our team. We’re not just seeking a writer, but a well-rounded creative who thrives on understanding audience behaviors and shaping content that resonates. The ideal candidate can seamlessly adapt to different industries and excels in crafting ideas and copy across a variety of platforms and needs. From brand voice development to campaigns, to creator briefs, web and SEO copy and beyond, you’ll play a critical role in driving results through brand storytelling.
Role:
- Understand the people you’re marketing to and how ever-changing culture informs how we speak to them
- Partner with other creatives and strategists to establish initial creative ideas and develop them into fully formed concepts and tactics
- Consider how ideas can scale to various touchpoints for integration and consistency
- Stay on top of new and effective creative benchmarks that elevate creative thinking
- Develop copy for campaigns, including scripts, social content, out of home, email marketing, and beyond
- Establish brands’ voice and tone guidelines, messaging pillars, and consumer-facing language and creatively captures strategic value propositions and benefits
- Work with the internal team to educate clients on copy best practices across digital channels by sharing proactive recommendations and rationale
- Write, manage, and update website copy with a strong understanding of SEO principles and objectives
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS…
- 2-5 years of experience as a copywriter
- A constant pulse on trends, culture, and what motivates people right now
- Interest in technical/mechanical subject-matter or at least an interest in learning more about the topic
- The ability and openness to write for any voice
- An obsessive dedication to detail
- An exceptional grasp on the rules of grammar (while knowing when to break them)
- The ability to succinctly capture ideas in writing, or through rough sketches
- Strong storytelling and presentation skills
- The ability to organize and manage copy decks
- The ability to follow direction and give/take constructive criticism
- The ability to effectively collaborate with team members from other disciplines
- An understanding of social media platforms and their abilities, limitations and best practices
- A genuine interest and proactive approach for integrating AI tools into your creative process and workflow
