Content Specialist III (Contract) at Meta – $39.15/hour – $48.94/hour
The main function of a content specialist is to write, review, edit and analyze content on Meta platforms often around nuanced and sensitive topics, as well as surface insights around that content. This work will be related to trust and safety mitigations, covering a wide spectrum of specific topics. The typical specialist will have excellent editorial judgment, expert writing and editing skills. They will also have experience working with risk mitigation or trust and safety efforts.
Job Responsibilities:
• Write, edit and review content for Meta platforms, ranging from creative copy to straightforward, informative text
• Develop guidelines and competitive analysis reports on highly sensitive topics
•Perform analysis and produce reports with compelling, actionable insights for our partners
•Create and apply review guidelines to content at scale, maintaining commitment to accuracy and consistency
•Collaborate with our content and product teams to improve user experience
•Have the ability to work an extended schedule as required
Minimum qualifications:
6+ years of experience with journalism, digital content strategy, product work in tech and/or safety and risk assessment
Backgrounds that include working with or on product teams for technology companies and understanding the needs of generative AI development
Prior experience in prompt engineering and annotation
Demonstrated critical thinking skills and impeccable track record of editorial judgment around nuanced topics (politics, bias, gender, religion etc.) to quality control large datasets of text
Familiarity and experience with AI tools
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
Proficiency in spreadsheet apps (e.g. Google Sheets, MS Excel) and/or other data analytics tool
Ability to perform and support basic data analysis and visualization
Preferred qualifications:
Deep knowledge of the social media landscape
Familiarity with AP Style
Experience working on voice products or audio journalism
Visual expertise
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree required.

The pay range that Tundra in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $39.15/hour – $48.94/hour.
