Basketball writer
We’re looking for contributors who want to cover basketball in the Seattle area. We want people with a point of view, great writing skills, and a passion for sports who can cover breaking news, write in-depth analysis, and anything in between. This is your opportunity to fill up a portfolio, build connections, and try your hand at something you’ve always wanted to try.
What you’ll do:
- Cover breaking news accurately
- Write news or analysis
- Pitch and write stories that you are passionate about
- Help shape coverage in the new and emerging basketball landscape
About you:
- Confident writer who can sometimes work fast
- A passion for and knowledge of Seattle-area basketball
- Preferably based in the greater Seattle area (which gives you the opportunity to cover stories in person, should you want to)
- Available a few hours a week
