About the role
As the marketing team’s Brand Content Specialist, you’ll play a key role on the content marketing and brand team, collaborating regularly to ideate, brainstorm, and pitch content ideas, formats, and concepts, as well as designing, creating, and implementing content and programs that support our overall marketing and growth team objectives. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented creative who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and is passionate about bringing brand standards to life through thoughtful design, engaging copy, and organized project management.
Top 3 Priorities
- Support multi-channel content, marketing and editorial strategy for BoomPop Growth team, bringing our brand to life through writing, publishing, and designing content that is aligned with our brand and messaging standards
- Create multi-channel marketing content, including newsletters, campaign emails, social posts, and visual brand assets that are consistent with our design system and editorial voice as a member of the content marketing team, collaborating on a weekly basis
- Project manage cross-functional programs supported by collaborative team (marketing, CS, events) such as event photography collection process, immersive customer stories, and more.
Within 30 days:
- Meet key team players and understand business model and growth playbook
- Trained in brand design system and implementing production design for marketing materials
- Begin publishing content to company blog and social media sites
- Learn email and newsletter production and QA process
- Contribute ideas to regular content team brainstorming and planning sessions
- Produce one customer testimonial story
- Learn project management systems and work with manager to develop SOPs as needed
Within 60 days:
- Own brand social media channels, including creating and publishing key content that supports the growth team playbook and editorial strategy
- Fully integrated into content team, meeting regularly with team to brainstorm and plan ideas and lead them through execution
- Own email and newsletter production, including content and design
- Regularly producing 1-2 customer stories a month
Within 90 days:
- Develop and pitch content ideas, formats, and opportunities
- Demonstrate subject matter expertise in events industry, leveraging internal experts as needed

What you’ll do
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align on weekly priorities and timelines.
- Implement brand strategy across email, social and other channels.
- Design marketing and sales assets and deliverables like sales sheets, deck designs, campaign ads, website CTAs, ebook layouts, and more
- Design and implement emails, such as campaign and newsletter emails, including layout, light copywriting, QA, and deployment in close collaboration with your team lead.
- Design, collaborate, and publish content to company blog and social media presence,such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube (graphics, reels, shorts) in close collaboration with content marketing team, supporting weekly editorial calendar
- Participate in weekly content brainstorming sessions and monthly content planning sessions with marketing team
- Create and edit short-form video content for social channels (reels, LinkedIn videos, YouTube Shorts), aligning with brand tone and messaging
- Project manage customer case studies program, including customer outreach based on NPS indicators; managing approvals across CS, events and clients; asset and quote collection; and preparing Figma design comps with provided copy, quotes, images and venue photography.
- Own the customer event photography process, ensuring photos are collected, uploaded, tagged, and organized in a centralized repository, and client approvals are managed and documented centrally
- Support the blog and website by implementing content updates, publishing blog posts, supporting SEO-driven enhancements, and designing visual updates as needed.
- Do production design work across all marketing content needs: sales decks, PDFs, paid ads, event collateral, and social assets.
- Maintain consistency with brand design and content standards across all marketing outputs.
- Collaborate regularly with design, sales, CS, and to support key programs.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in marketing design, brand content, or creative production.
- Proficient in Figma and tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and basic video editing software (e.g. CapCut, Premiere Rush, or similar).
- Experience using HubSpot for building and designing emails, campaigns, and automations to support key marketing initiatives
- Strong understanding of brand design systems and how to apply them across various mediums.
- Comfortable with short-form copywriting (emails, social posts, CTA buttons, headlines).
- Organized and process-driven—can manage multiple projects, timelines, and approvals with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with social media publishing tools and analytics platforms.
- Experience managing case study or testimonial content, or working with event/photo/video content in a fast-moving environment.
- Comfortable working with customers as needed to navigate content approvals process.

Occasional Travel: Connecting is in our DNA, please note that we anticipate roughly 3-4 nights of travel per quarter for this role.
Total Compensation Package; Including Benefits and Stock:
Base: $82,000 – $110,000 a year; Depending on Experience and Qualifications
Medical, vision, dental, life: $10,000 – $16,000 a year; Depending on Individual or Family Plan
Equity: Our vision is to take BoomPop to the moon; Total Estimated Value for this Role is $50,000+
