Job Overview Summary
The Social Media Manager is responsible for leading our social media efforts and growing our online social presence. The successful candidate will manage and execute social media strategies, create compelling content, and analyze performance metrics to optimize campaigns. This role will play a crucial part in enhancing brand awareness, engaging our audience, and driving traffic to our digital platforms.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the company’s marketing goals and brand voice.
Content Creation and Management:

- Plan, create, and schedule engaging and visually appealing content (text, images, videos) across various social media platforms.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop high-quality assets that resonate with our target audience.
- Manage social channels and social media management platforms.
Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, human resources, and customer service teams to align messaging and campaigns across channels.
Community Engagement:

- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions promptly to foster positive interactions.
- Build and nurture relationships with our online community, including influencers and brand advocates.
Analytics and Reporting:

- Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics (e.g., engagement, reach, conversions).
- Use data insights to refine strategies and recommend actionable improvements.
- Provide stakeholders with regular reports and insights on social media performance.
Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure our platforms remain innovative and competitive.
Paid Social Campaigns: Manage and optimize paid social media campaigns to maximize ROI.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) managing social media platforms for a technology, services organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, platform-specific insights).
- Strong understanding of key social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube) and their algorithms.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and their application to social media content optimization
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to craft content that drives engagement.
- Experience with paid social media campaigns and budget management.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Previous experience within the clinical research or Life Sciences industry preferred.
- Excellent independent and team collaboration skills
