If you’re a fan of any and everything gaming, we’d love to chat with you about writing scripts for our Youtube channel. This channel focuses on the development of gaming franchises over time by taking a magnifying glass and giving love (or hate) to every. single. one of the games in that franchise.

Scriptwriter Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Craft fun and engaging scripts
  • Direct the rest of the team to bring a script to life
  • Hit deadlines to ensure a consistent flow of content, while still focusing on quality
  • String research points together to create compelling narratives

Scriptwriter Requirements:

  • Have a Discord account. We work with people from all over the world, so Discord is our primary method of communication.
  • Strong understanding of writing skills (sentence flow, grammar, structure).
  • Superb active communication skills, we love to hear updates about your progress throughout.
  • Base level understanding of Youtube-specific scriptwriting (viewer engagement, hooks, clip integration).
  • Have a malleable voice, being able to take your personal tone and embed it within a desired frame.
  • Self-starter
  • Team-player, putting videos together is a team effort! The scriptwriters play a vital role in the team.
  • Strong time-management skills. Deadlines are of course paramount, but so is quality! Meeting deadlines while still focusing on quality is key.
  • Fan of all things gaming! You, of course, have to have a certain passion for the content you produce!

All in all, we aren’t looking for someone that can just present information about these games. You will have to know how to creatively explain the story of their franchises, compare games to one another, as well as find ways to incorporate how an individual game may have impacted the franchise as a whole. All bundled up and tied together through the story of your experience of the games.
