Writer, The Language Doctors
The Language Doctors are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Bilingual Content Writer to join our marketing team. Our ceaselessly expanding company is dedicated to breaking language barriers and connecting cultures worldwide. The Content Writer will craft engaging, accurate, and SEO-friendly written materials tailored for the U.S. market, with a strong focus on immigration-related content in both English and Spanish.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Content Development: Write clear, compelling, and culturally relevant content for the U.S. market, including blog posts, website copy, articles, lead magnets, and newsletters.
- Bilingual Writing: Produce and adapt content in both English and Spanish, ensuring accuracy, tone, and cultural sensitivity for diverse audiences.
- Immigration-Focused Content: Research and create high-quality content on immigration topics, policies, and processes, making complex information accessible and engaging.
- SEO Alignment: Collaborate with the SEO team to integrate targeted keywords (in English and Spanish) into content strategies to maximize visibility and reach.
- Editorial Standards: Ensure all content adheres to brand voice, style guidelines, and compliance requirements for accuracy, clarity, and tone.
- Collaboration: Work closely with designers, SEO experts, and marketing specialists to create multimedia and written assets that support campaigns and business goals.
- Content Research: Stay up to date on U.S. immigration trends, news, and best practices to develop timely and relevant content.
- Performance Monitoring: Contribute to content performance tracking by reviewing engagement metrics and adjusting strategies to improve reach and impact.
Experience & Skills Required:
- Proven experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or similar role, preferably with a focus on immigration, legal, or cultural topics.
- Native or near-native proficiency in English and Spanish (both written and spoken).
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with SEO principles, keyword research, and content optimization.
- Ability to simplify complex topics and make them accessible for a broad audience.
- Strong research skills and ability to fact-check thoroughly.
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills within a cross-functional team.
