The Ads Marketing team’s mission is to engage advertisers and agencies around the world and demonstrate the power of the platform as a media and marketing engine – showing how it delivers results at scale.
Within Ads Marketing, the Thought Leadership and Narratives team is responsible for shaping the core advertising narrative and bringing it to life at key moments through original thought leadership and a cohesive, cross-team content strategy.
The Role
You will be responsible for turning insights into content that reflects our core narratives and managing the operational process that brings it to life.
You will turn strategic inputs into clear content and bring simplicity to complexity and explain the “how” behind the “what.” You will make advanced ad solutions easy to understand.
You will own the content development process and ensure our production engine runs smoothly and on time, including managing systems and liaising with stakeholders.
Your work will also include:
- Developing messaging strategy, core narratives and content drumbeat
- Owning and activating content (including speeches, articles, internal messaging sources of truth, white papers, trends reports across owned, industry and cultural moments).
- Establishing content marketing best practices and providing an editorial resource to the broader team.
This is a contract role with an initial term of six months, with a strong likelihood of annual renewal if the engagement is successful.
Responsibilities
Writing and Editing
- Turn technical and marketing concepts into messages that are known, understood, and felt.
- Write executive speeches, blog posts, and presentations.
- Create content that reflects consumer insights and key product points.
Managing Content Operations
- Clear and proactive communication style.
- Manage the production of “content bundles” for key moments and always-on sustain campaigns.
- Maintain the central content tracker to ensure real-time visibility into development status.
- Ensure all data in our tracking systems is up to date.
- Coordinate reviews with leadership and ensure sign-off happens two weeks prior to launch.
- Hand off final, approved assets to channel owners for activation.
Minimum Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of editorial or copywriting experience, preferably at a major media publication
- Experience managing complex projects or content calendars.
Preferred Qualifications
- A passion for writing and outstanding communication skills.
- A strong portfolio of writing samples.
- Ability to think, plan, and execute multiple projects at once.
- Ability to deliver content on time in a fast-paced environment.
