Virtual Curriculum Writer (Grades 3-5 ELA & Math) – $25 an hour

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Virtual Curriculum Writer to develop engaging and standards-aligned ELA and Math content for grades 3-5. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in curriculum development, with a focus on creating clear, accessible, and student-centered materials for virtual learning environments.

Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive and engaging lesson plans, activities, and assessments for ELA and Math aligned to state and national standards for grades 3-5.
• Ensure content is accessible, inclusive, and differentiated to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Collaborate with the curriculum development team to review and refine materials.
• Incorporate interactive and multimedia elements to enhance virtual learning experiences.
• Conduct research to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
• Revise content based on feedback from educators and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Curriculum Development, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience writing ELA and/or Math curriculum for grades 3-5.
• Strong understanding of Common Core or other state/national standards.
• Experience developing content for virtual learning platforms preferred.
• Excellent writing, editing, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with educational technology tools and learning management systems (e.g., Google Classroom, Google Suite)
• Creativity in developing engaging and interactive instructional materials.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
