We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technical Writer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality documentation that explains the functionality and features of our pharmacy procurement software to a variety of audiences. This includes creating user manuals, online help content, release notes, and other technical materials. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to translate complex technical concepts into easily understandable documentation for a wide range of users, including pharmacy managers, pharmacy buyers, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
- Document Software Features: Create and update user guides, API documentation, system architecture overviews, release notes, and troubleshooting manuals for Trulla’s pharmacy procurement software.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and quality assurance teams to gather information, ensure accuracy, and clarify technical details.
- Create Tutorials and Knowledge Base Articles: Develop step-by-step tutorials, FAQs, and knowledge base content to help users navigate and maximize the use of the software.
- Maintain Documentation Standards: Ensure consistency and adherence to Trulla’s documentation style guide, maintaining high-quality standards across all written materials.
- User-Centric Focus: Tailor documentation to the needs of different audiences, from technical developers to end-users in the pharmacy sector.
- Feedback Loop: Collect user feedback on documentation effectiveness and make improvements based on user insights.
- Assist with Quality Assurance Testing and other related tasks to ensure a deep understanding of Trulla software.
Desired Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Communication, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience as a technical writer, ideally with experience in software documentation.
- Strong understanding of pharmacy procurement processes and terminology (preferred but not required).
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with an ability to explain complex concepts in simple, user-friendly language.
- Proficiency with documentation tools like MadCap Flare, Confluence, Microsoft Word, or other similar platforms.
- Basic understanding of software development, APIs, and workflows.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
Evaluation and Process Improvement:
- Annual performance reviews will be conducted along with goal setting.
- Provide recommendations on process improvements.
Job Location:
- Remote office
- Travel expected at least once per year for an onsite company meeting with possible additional opportunities consisting of onsite client meetings and/or conferences.
